Arrival in Lima. Remaining day at leisure.

Flight to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. Visit the Chinchero community and the Sunday market of Chinchero. Continue to “El Mirador de Racchi” for a splendid view of the Sacred Valley. Typical lunch at a local house.

Morning at leisure. Optional excursions like visiting the traditional Pisac Market, Rafting on the Urubamba river, Biking tour in the Sacred Valley or Hiking from Ollantaytambo to Cachicata. In the afternoon visit to the ruins of Ollantaytambo.

Full day excursion by Vistadome train to visit the Incan site of Machu Picchu including a guided visit. Return by bus and train to Cusco.

City tour of Cusco. The contrasts of indigenous styles and the modern western world give this city its rare beauty. Visit to some ruins around Cusco, like Sacsayhuaman.

Full day panoramic drive to Puno on the shores of magnificent Lake Titicaca (seat-in). This amazing deep blue lake is the largest lake in South America and the largest in the world above 2000 m. On the way visit Andahuaylillas with its Sistine Chapel of America, the temple of Wiracocha Racchi and Puka Pukara en route, inclusive lunch.

Day tour (seat-in) to the manmade islands of Uros and the unique culture of the Taquile Island. Many of the inhabitants of still practice the old traditions of fishing, trapping birds and  living on the lake plants. The narrow island of Taquile is home to numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. Lunch included. Transfer to Juliaca airport and flight to Lima.

City tour including San Francisco Convent and Larco Herrera Museum, which houses the world’s largest private collection of Peruvian Pre-Columbian Art.

Flight to Iquitos in the Amazon region. Brief city orientation and 40 km journey by boat (seat-in) down the Amazon River to reach the Ceiba Tops Lodge. Afternoon hike in the beautiful primary rainforest reserve surrounding. Lunch and dinner included.

Boat ride, spotting for dolphins, to visit a small village of Yagua Indians. Afternoon walking excursion to the neighbouring town of Indiana. Fullboard included, excursions on seat-in basis.

Boat ride to the ExplorNapo Lodge for breakfast. Hike to the spectacular Canopy Walkway before visiting the "ReNuPeRu" Ethnobotanical Garden with over 240 medicinal plants. Full board included, excursions on seat-in basis.

Flight back to Lima. End of the roundtrip and departure flight.
