ECUADOR - Yellow Fever Vaccination
(30.04.2025)

The Ministry of Tourism announced that travelers from Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, and Brazil must present a yellow fever vaccination certificate upon entry into Ecuador due to several cases of yellow fever in the region.

The vaccine must have been carried out at least 10 days prior to arrival.

This entry requirement will take effect on Monday, May 12, 2025, and must be presented upon boarding any means of transportation (air, land, or sea).

This measure applies to travelers of any nationality who have stayed in the mentioned countries for more than 10 days.

This requirement is in response to the public health emergency declared by Colombian government authorities due to a yellow fever outbreak in several departments along the border with Ecuador.
